Teaching
Teaching & experience
Agnes has taught for more than ten years in Malaysia, the United Kingdom and Singapore: at music academies, in schools, at university and in private lessons. She teaches children, teenagers and adults, from beginners to diploma level, in English and Chinese. At the studio, she teaches both piano lessons and guzheng lessons.
Her teaching is grounded in classical foundations and open to students’ wider musical interests. Examinations can be part of a student’s development where they help, but they are not the purpose of lessons.
