Lessons are adapted to each student’s age, level and goals, whether they are starting from scratch, learning for enjoyment or preparing for examinations. Agnes is mainly a classical musician, and teaches all genres.

For all ages and levels
From young beginners to diploma candidates, lesson length and focus follow the student’s age and stage. These are the recommended starting points. Lessons take place at our studio on Geylang Road in Singapore.
Young beginners (under 6)
Finger strength and coordination are still forming, so lessons focus on musicianship and musical play rather than technical work.
Recommended lesson 30 minutes, weekly
Children (6 to 12)
Shorter weekly lessons suit concentration and stamina that are still developing.
Recommended lesson 30 minutes, weekly
Teenagers & adults
A longer lesson gives time to cover technical skills and repertoire in depth.
Recommended lesson 1 hour, weekly
Examinations & advanced study
Teaching from Grade 1 to DipABRSM level, including preparation for ABRSM and Trinity examinations for students who choose to take them.
